David Blaine and Yours Truely at Magic Live! Convention in Las Vegas - 2007Want to give everyone a heads up tonight, September 24, 2008, about David Blaines' Television special on CBS at 8:00 Central Time. At the risk of sounding like a name dropper, David is one of the nicest guys in the business. I have talked to him on the phone and we have met a couple of times and he is always been gracious...plus he is a pretty darn good magician.

I liked his one show back int he day. What was it called? David Blaine's Street Magic or something like that?

I plan on bringing in a bit of my magic interest on the blog. It is something I truly love to do...and I have turned down a few gigs this fall to not distract from the Palo Duro Run.

Street Magic was his best show. It brought to the forefront to a lot of magicians that the spectators reaction is more important than how good you think you are at slight of hand.
Wasn't he the guy who was hanging from his feet for several days?
